“A really enticing appearance, with plenty of the chunky vegetables, great colour, not too much liquid and a really inviting aroma of spice. The textures were great, with plenty of bite to the vegetables and just enough moisture to hold it all together. The flavours were delicious – brightening acidity and some lovely depth from the spices and the mustard, well balanced over all. A very decent Piccalilli’
‘This is a colourful product, very generously full of vegetables. The balance of oniony flavour is offset by a full vegetable medley, each one giving a crunch and flavour of its own. A good vinegar base with the colour of turmeric and piquancy of mustard, this piccalilli is traditional but has its own character, and is a taste sensation.’
