About Young’s Provisions

Young’s Provisions was founded in 2017 by Andy Young, a former restaurateur with a lifelong passion for food developed over a 20-year career in the hospitality trade, which took him from his native Scotland to London, New York and Hong Kong. Having cultivated a keen interest in traditional handmade food products during his travels, Andy began to create some of his own when he returned to the UK in 2017 with the dream of opening his own artisanal deli.

Starting with a collection of much-loved family recipes and adding a few ingenious twists, he created a selection of handmade chutneys and preserves, which he began to sell at farmers markets and food fairs. After selling out to enthusiastic customers at a succession of these events, Young’s Provisions was born.

Three years on, Young’s Provisions’ range of delicious preserves, tangy chutneys and special seasonal editions are stocked in numerous artisanal food stores and eateries across the UK, while customers can also purchase directly from the online store.

All Young’s Provisions products are handmade, free from nuts and dairy, and suitable for vegans. Organic ingredients are used wherever possible, some of which are hand-grown by Andy at Forty Hall Farm on the outskirts of London, or in his personal herb garden. As well as lovingly making Young’s Provisions products, Andy also offers advice and ideas on how to use the products in various easy-to-follow recipes through his blog.
